It is a busy time for RiceRacePrep. It is time for winter service and we have several cars in various states of rebuild. We have brought in a Piper FF which is being parted out. Construction starts on Friday which will see an expansion in shop space my 125%. We also have a backlog of customer shocks in for service. One Formula Ford has been sold to NZ, and 3 kent FF engines have been sold, all in the last month.
It is a time for scheduling and announcements. We expect the Formula Racing Promotions schedule to be released next Friday at the winter meeting at the PRI show in Indy. Derrick walker was announced today as the new president of SCCA Pro Racing. Still trying to finalize details of F2000, F1600, F4 schedules as well as squeezing in some F1000 races, SCCA events, and Toyo F1600 events. It looks like we will be at Sebring and Homestead in January to start the 2016 season.
Along with our inventory of used Piper parts, we have invested in two LD200 transmissions that are posted in the For Sale section. These are very difficult to come by, and we hope they can be used to get some new F2000 and F1600 cars on track.
