Elliott Budzinski Joins RiceRace for SCCA June Sprints

Nineteen year old Elliott Budzinski, from Ann Arbor, Michigan, will join RiceRace for the Hoosier Super Tour event at the 67th annual edition of the SCCA June Sprints at Road America on the June 16-19 weekend. Elliott will drive the #49 Mygale F1600 car for his first Formula F race at this legendary event and facility. Elliott has an extensive background in karting as a driver, but has also moved into a role as coach and data analyst for MPG motorsports. Elliott will join season RiceRace driver Gordon Scully from Chicago, who has done 7 events this year, but none at Road America. "The June Sprints are always a fun event for the team" reports team owner Greg Rice. "It will be fun to see these young racers tackle such a wonderful race track for their first time".

RiceRace is a successful small race team based in Ransomville, New York. The team runs three Mygale F1600 cars and one Citation FC car in Pro and SCCA race events. The team won the 2020 F1600 Championship and 2020 SCCA Runoffs in FF. The team also won the 2016 F2000 Championship and the 2021 SCCA Runoffs in FC. The championship team is seeking one driver for the remaining three F1600 events, and drivers for the SCCA Runoffs.
