Exciting Sebring Starts 2021

Misha Goikhberg led both Sebring races.

RiceRace started 2021 with some time at the historic Sebring track to start off the 2021 season. Joined by another new driver in testing, Misha Goikhberg rejoined the team, to set the testing day pace. Once the official Hoosier Super Tour event sessions started, Misha battled with two other drivers, to trade positions at the top of each session and race. Misha led much of Race 1 but was in 2nd when the full course caution came out to end the race early. He was leading in Race 2 when tangling with a lapped car and bending the suspension. He dropped to the rear of the 6-car lead pack and finished sixth, still doing impressive times with an inch of rear toe-out. The RiceRace team welcomes Misha back anytime he has a spare weekend from his IMSA and TransAm duties.

RiceRace continues to tinker with it's 2021 schedule. Greg Rice reports " We have settled into running 2 drivers for the full FRP season and are finalizing details of that program. We should have announcements soon. We are now focused on building other programs to complement the Pro F1600 effort. We would like to get drivers into FF and FC club events who will chase a National Championship with the Runoffs at Indianapolis. We will run a 3rd car in selected Pro events, with the target of giving some new drivers the opportunity to experience the class and our team, hopefully preparing for a full effort in 2022."
