RiceRace Goes 3 For 3 At Autobahn F1600

The RiceRace team had a spectacular weekend at the Autobahn F1600 event on the July 8-10 weekend. Race 1 saw new recruit Elliott Budzinski win his first F1600 event after a last lap battle with team mate Thomas Schrage. The two staged another battle in Race 2 as they drove away from the pack by a second a lap. Thomas won by half a car length over Elliott with the pack 15 seconds behind. Race 3 was the toughest as both got pushed around on the first lap, Thomas dropping to ninth before a fine recovery, setting the fastest laps as he charged forward. Thomas and Elliott finished 1-2 by the end, for their 3rd such result of the weekend.

RiceRace has the #18, driven by Elliott at Autobahn, available for their last 3 events of their season. Next up is Summit Point on August 19-21 followed by the SCCA Runoffs on October 1-3.
