With the 2017 season starting in less than a months time, we are hard at work preparing to go racing. Five engines are due back by Quicksilver this weekend, which means we can start final assembly on 5 cars next week. Rice Race Prep will be with Joel Haas at Homestead and Sebring to start the SCCA Majors season on the first two weekends in January. Haas will be running his Parametric Solutions Piper F1000 car. Plans to run additional cars are being discussed but not confirmed.
Our F4 program is confirmed. Expect an announcement shortly. Still to be confirmed is the line-up for the Formula Race Promotions Series. Haas will be returning in his Parametric Solutions Piper F1600 car and will be joined at selected events by Steve Bamford in his championship winning F2000 Citation and F1600 Mygale. One full time spot remains in the RRP line-up for all FRP Series events, but we can also run drivers part-time in FRP events or East Coast/Great Lakes SCCA events. A multi-car effort is planned for the SCCA Runoffs at Indianapolis in September.
