Jason Pribyl Returns for Road America

Jason Pribyl did his first car race with RiceRace in the fall of 2020 at PIRC. Jason will rejoin the team to contest the three Road America races at the FRP F1600 event on July 7-9. Races will be live-streamed on speedtourTV.com. "We have watched Jason mature and develop as he raced other cars over the last few years" reports team owner Greg Rice. "When we had a seat open up, we reached out and put together a deal for Road America. We have open seats for the last two FRP events and the Runoffs."

Jason Pribyl, 18, of Glenview, IL, has over a decade of racing experience racing a variety of karts, cars and tracks.  He started racing karts at 6 and began road racing karts on car tracks at 7.  Jason's first auto race was in 2020 in a Rice Race Prep F1600.  In 2021, he ran a full season of Formula Enterprise 2, winning the SCCA Majors Northern Conference and finished 10th in that season's SCCA Runoffs.  Jason started the 2022 season testing with the USF Juniors but raced the Spec-MX5 Challenge and a weekend of Spec Racer Ford 3.  In addition to this weekend's F1600 Race, Jason has been racing SCCA Spec Race Ford, he most recently finished 8th in the June Sprints at Road America.

RiceRace is in it's final season in the racehire business as Greg Rice will shift to motorsport consultation at the conclusion of the FRP F1600 season in September. Both the 01 and 02 cars, and all equipment will be available for purchase. Greg Rice is available for the SCCA Runoffs and seeking interesting projects and people to work with going forward. He can be contacted at RiceRacePrep@gmail.com.
