RD1 120 volt portable dyno. Approximately 5 years old. Used about 50 hours. Will be available in March after winter service on team shocks. This was selected because it was 120 volt, weighs about 200 lbs, and is truly portable. It can be transported in the back of a hatchback. It is designed for light duty race cars (midgets, formula cars) that use short shocks and soft springs. The RD1 is no longer available from CTW as there have been supply issues with some components. It has always worked well. If not sold by March 1, it will be returned to CTW for resale from their base in North Carolina. Comes complete as delivered with software key and tools. $8500 OBO. Software note from CTW. The RD1 uses CTW-Probe Analysis software to allow the user to create and run tests of various velocities to collect force data that is presented in various industry-standard graphs. The RD1 is a compact, lightweight machine that is designed to be structurally sound where loading is applied based on FEA analysis. Measurements are taken based on the line of actuation to ensure only the damper or specimen result is recorded.
