The RiceRace team continued their run of success at the Hoosier Super Tour event at Road America. In sweltering 90+ degree heat, the 65th edition of the SCCA June Sprints took place on the June 6th weekend. Spectators returned to the iconic facility hosting 26 classes split into 8 race groups. Misha Goikhberg represented the team in Formula F by qualifying 4th, then winning Saturday's race, and finishing 4th on Sunday. Misha came out on the winning end of a photo finish on Saturday, and losing end of the photo finish for 3rd on Sunday. Simon Sikes represented the team in Formula Continental, taking pole position, and the race win on Saturday. Simon had to settle for 2nd on Sunday as he got passed late in the race. Simon will return in USF2000 for the Indycar event in 2 weeks and Misha will race a Lamborghini at the IMSA event later this summer.
Rice Race will be at Pittsburgh International Race Complex on the June 20th weekend for a FRP F1600 event. Still looking for a guest driver to join Will Holtz, Kyle August, and Jonathan Lee at really fun track in western PA. The team also has an open seat for other FRP events and the SCCA Runoffs.
