At Barber Motorsports Park, last weekend, Jonathan Lee and Greg Rice announced an alliance between Lee Racing and RiceRace that will see the two teams work together through the 2021 FRP F1600 Championship season. Jonathan Lee will join current RiceRace drivers Will Holtz and Kyle August at all FRP events, as all three continue to rack up points, scoring top-6 results in most races. Jonathan had a strong weekend, scoring his first Pro pole and win in Saturday's Race 1. RiceRace guest driver, Dex Czuba joined Jonathan on the podium with a strong 3rd in only his 2nd session in the number 6 Mygale.

Will Holtz and Kyle August had strong runs at Barber.

" Adding Jon to the mix just makes our team stronger. We will still have guest drivers like Simon Sikes, Misha Goikhberg, Bob Perona, and Dex Czuba in our 4th car, which challenges both our team drivers, but other team drivers, and makes the F1600 Series that much tougher. In addition to what Jon brings to our team, his father, James, just brings more experience and technical expertise." RiceRace team owner Greg Rice reports. "We have Simon Sikes and Chris Livengood coaching, while Alan Oppel and I handle the technical process. Adding James to the team improves both those elements. We want to keep all 3 drivers in the top-5 in points and win some races!"

Kyle August, Will Holtz, and Jonathan Lee will be in action June 18-20 at Pittsburgh (PIRC) with FRP F1600. The team has not yet confirmed a guest driver for the number 6 Mygale. Interested drivers should contact Greg Rice at RiceRacePrep@gmail.com. A different lineup of drivers is off to Road America for the June Sprints on June 4-6. Misha Goikhberg will be racing FF and Simon Sikes in FC.
