Due to some recent instability with SCCA management, we are shifting the focus of our secondary events to showcase events in the Northeast and Canada. Formula Racing Promotion (FRP) events will continue to be our focus, but we are adding "destination" events at Mosport, Montreal GP (June 8-10), Trois-Riviere (Aug 10-12), and Mont Tremblant. We will maintain our usual attendance at Watkins Glen (June 22-24). We hope we can add some quality drivers who are competing in other Series but would like a chance for spot-duty at these fine tracks.
Rice Race Prep is open for new business in 2018. 2017 was a transitional year as we diversified and worked with new teams and drivers, but we would really like to get back to our specialty. We will have up to 3 "arrive n drive" seats available for FRP F1600 and one in F2000. We have the capability to service full-time FRP customers in F1600 or F2000 who have their own cars. We have a legacy of data, video, and expertise, so that we can provide a complete and focused race effort to racers that want to go racing seriously. Although it seems like long ago, please recall that RRP did win the 2016 F2000 Masters and Overall Championships in dominant fashion. We are always open to interesting consulting projects.
