Greg Rice returned from Indianapolis today with The Mygale Honda FF car that won the Pacific F1600 Series. Bryan Herta's son, Colton, drove the car to 10 wins in 15 starts. Bryan Herta Autosport operates Mygale North America which is the importer for Mygale race cars in North America.
Rice reports "We have been in discussion with Steve Newey, from BHA, and Bertrand Decoster, owner of Mygale, about getting some Mygales racing in Canada. With Steve Bamford's commitments south of the border, it was decided we need to get another car available to be used exclusively in Ontario and Quebec. There may be as many as a dozen racing in the East Coast US F1600 Series and this was the last car not spoken for. I needed to get it out of there before someone else claimed it."
Rice Race Prep is looking for an established driver/team to take the car and run a full season with the car in either Ontario or Quebec. We can also provide the car in arrive n drive form for the high profile FF events or Quebec Formula Tour events. Unfortunately, Perry Iannuzzi and Andrew Ross, from CASC, have made it clear that our team is not welcome at Ontario Regional events, so we will not be offering full service in Ontario.
