RRP & Haas Add More Wins at Summit Point FRP

Joel Haas scored two more Masters wins on Sunday Aug 26th at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia. Driving his Parametric Solutions sponsored Piper, Haas led much of both Sunday races after a strong second in Saturday's race. The RRP guest driver at Summit Point was team owner Greg Rice who drove the Fox40 Reynard to three 4th place finishes in Masters class, and ran as high as 2nd in Race 3. The Reynard is a team project to demonstrate that strong preparation and engineering can make much older cars competitive in F1600 racing. The 1983 model Reynard is 30 years older than most of the cars and almost three times older than some of the F1600 series drivers. Rice Race Prep is open to new business in 2018. Two former race-winning cars have been added to the stable of cars, and full "Arrive N Drive" programs will be available for young racers seeking overall wins or more mature racers looking for Master's success. Stay tuned for an announcement at Indianapolis Speedway at the SCCA Runoffs at the end of September. RRP will have a strong presence there as Joel Haas will race his Parametric Solutions/ Hoosier Pipers in the FF and FB classes. David James will be joining RRP to race his Piper in FF. Then the team goes to New Jersey Motorsports Park on Oct 6-8 for the FRP F1600 Series finale. Also stay tuned for exciting news about RRP guest drivers in new RRP rides, at the NJMP event.
