The shop has been busy preparing 3 cars for the first FRP Series event back at Road Atlanta on April 7-10th. Steve Bamford will be back in both F2000 and F1600 cars seeking more overall wins and a run at overall championships, while defending his Masters Championships. Joining the F1600 Series will be Joel Haas who has purchased a Honda powered Piper DF-5 to go with his Kawasaki powered Piper DF-5 F1000 car. Also sponsored by Parametric Solutions, Joel will compete in the Masters F1600 division with his #06 red Piper.
The Rice Race Prep team is well-prepared for the arrival of our SCCA F4 car. With crew, and all support equipment, ready to operate, we hope to get off to a strong at Lime Rock in May as most of the other start-up teams try to find their way. Steve Bamford went strongly at his last Lime Rock race, and we are looking forward to making a strong start in the first F4 event.

Our winter racing season wraps up this weekend at the SCCA Road Atlanta Majors event as Joel Haas looks to add to his points lead in the SCCA F1000 National points standings. With 2 wins in 4 starts, Joel will drive his Parametric Solutions Piper DF-5 at the challenging track near Atlanta, Georgia.
