Thomas Schrage Wins a Pair at Autobahn

Thomas Schrage had two wins and a runner-up finish in F1600 action at Autobahn Country Club race track on September 11-12. Driving his number 01 RiceRace Mygale, Thomas got stronger in each race, controlling race 3 from the front, on a track where passing is difficult. In an interesting trajectory while driving for the RiceRace team in 6 races, Thomas finished 4th twice, then 2nd twice, before his two victories. Thomas was joined on the race 2 podium by teammate Will Holtz who finished 3rd, continuing his effort to maintain 2nd in the point standings.

Parked in the Autobahn winner's circle, the race 2 awards are about to be presented.

The next event on the RiceRace team schedule is the SCCA Runoffs at the Indianapolis Speedway Road Course on October 2nd. Thomas and Will will be joined by Simon Sikes who will defend his SCCA Formula F championship, and also compete in the 35th anniversary event in Formula Continental. The team appreciates the support from suppliers Hoosier Race Tire, Quicksilver Race Engines, Primus Racing Parts, Citation Engineering, and Susi Uhl Art.. Thomas has support from Airport Electric Service. Will has support from LevelUp Racing School and LinearEdge. Simon brings support from Group 6 Racing Apparel. Once finished the Runoff event, the team will shift toward preparing for 2022 with one F1600 program open, one FC program open, and several open for SCCA FF events.
