Sikes and Schrage Confirmed for Formula F at SCCA Runoffs

RiceRace will be running Simon Sikes and Thomas Schrage in Formula F at the SCCA Runoffs at the Indianapolis Speedway on October 2nd. The team previously announced that Will Holtz will race in Formula F and Simon Sikes in Formula Continental, bringing the program to 3 drivers and 4 cars. Sikes is the defending Formula F champion and also the runnerup in FC in 2020. Schrage has been tearing up Midwest SCCA tracks in his family-run Formula F Swift, and will be driving his 01 RiceRace Mygale in his 3rd event.

Simon Sikes was the 2020 SCCA Formula F champion, but will move to the 13 car to defend his title.

"We are delighted that Simon can take a break from his Road To Indy efforts to join us for the SCCA Runoffs. It is the 35th Anniversary of FC in SCCA and it will be a special event with over 30 drivers competing." reports team owner Greg Rice. "Formula F will always be a competitive race, and I believe Simon, Will, and Thomas will all be contenders, with possibly more than one standing on the podium. We are very dependent on our partners, Hoosier Tire, Quicksilver Race Engines, Group 6 Apparel, Primus Racing Parts, Citation Engineering, and Susi Uhl Art. Hopefully, we can put it all together and have a strong week."

Simon will drive the 13 Citation in the 35th Anniversary FC event.

RiceRace has filled their roster for the balance of their 2021 schedule. The team is hard at work preparing for 2022. There is only one seat remaining open for their Pro F1600 events, but the SCCA FC program needs a driver, and seats are available for SCCA Formula F, including the June Sprints, and Runoffs.
