RiceRace Offers Free Introductory Event

RiceRace will contend the American Road Race of Champions on November 6-8 and is inviting drivers who are considering racing F1600 and FF in 2021 to sample the class and team. ARRC team drivers will be offered a discounted price for the event, which will become free if the driver commits to 10 or more events with RiceRace in 2021, with a confirmation deposit by the year end. Drivers for the ARRC event will need to have a SCCA competition license, have paid the event fee and damages deposit, and be qualified to race a F1600/FF race car.

RiceRace drivers Simon Sikes (center) and Jackson Lee (left) have done 11 races in 2020 with 15 total podiums between them, including 9 wins!

RiceRace owner Greg Rice reports " We are looking to 2021, and will, in effect, start next season at the American Road Race of Champions at Road Atlanta in November. We are selling a 7-event Pro F1600 season and a 5-event SCCA season with SCCA races at Homestead, Sebring, Road Atlanta, June Sprints at Road America, and the Runoffs at Indy. We would like to run potential 2021 drivers at the ARRC event in November, as we have for the past few years. Drivers can race the Pro or SCCA events, or some combination. We believe that those 12 events will be the best F1600 races in the country and will prepare drivers to move on to the Road to Indy, or other Pro racing. I think the seasons that Simon and Jackson are having, illustrates that very nicely!"

The ARRC event is a Showcase event for the Southeast Division of SCCA and the Road Atlanta race track, which will fall twice on the 2021 RiceRace schedule. Simon Sikes prepared for his impressive 2020 season by sweeping every session at the 2019 ARRC event.
