RiceRace Prepares for 2021

While 2020 has been a brutal year for many in the world, the RiceRace team has been spectacular in its "On Track" performance. The team has won 8 of 11 races, finishing 2nd in the other three. Jackson Lee has come on strong with two wins and two 2nds in his last 4 races. Simon Sikes has been on a tear for the last year, driving for RiceRace, winning 10 of 16 starts, with a pair of 2nds, and some big iRacing wins, including Iowa in an Indycar.

Team owner Greg Rice reports, " We still may add another car or two for the SCCA Runoffs, but we are totally committed to taking care of our current team drivers as we hit the home stretch with our final FRP F1600 events. New York has done a great job with the Covid situation, and we are focused on protecting our drivers, crew, and families as we finish up our season. We are looking to 2021, and will, in effect, start next season at the American Road Race of Champions at Road Atlanta in November. We are selling a 7-event Pro F1600 season and a 5-event SCCA season with SCCA races at Homestead, Sebring, Road Atlanta, June Sprints at Road America, and the Runoffs at Indy. We would like to run potential 2021 drivers at the ARRC event in November, as we have for the past few years. Drivers can race the Pro or SCCA events, or some combination. We believe that those 12 events will be the best F1600 races in the country and will prepare drivers to move on to the Road to Indy, or other Pro racing. I think the seasons that Simon and Jackson are having, illustrates that very nicely!"
